Vegan food company will begin cookin' in California in the new year

September 04, 2020
Vancouver, British Columbia, September 4, 2020 —  The Very Good Food Company (VGF) officially announces plans for expansion into the United States of America with a strategically located Califonia production facility.
CEO Mitchell Scott says, "After closing our oversubscribed bought deal financing in early August, we are now able to move ahead with an accelerated expansion into the U.S. market. The California Facility is more than double the size of our future Vancouver facility and will be capable of substantially larger production volume. With the strong demand, we are currently experiencing for our products, finding a facility that could become operational quickly was key and being located on the doorstep of a key logistics partner made this location an excellent fit."

The demand for vegan food is evergrowing, and the Very Good Food Company is growing to keep up. The following will be key to the success of the new facility:
  • The facility requires minimal renovations as it already contains key food production infrastructure.
  • Production capacity is expected to be a 2,500% increase in volume over the Victoria facility.
  • It is located along key shipping routes for wholesale clients and key suppliers.
