The Cultured Nut’s Ottima Mozza Cheeze
The Cultured Nut is an artisan, small batch, plant-based cheez company located in Victoria, British Columbia. Their nut-based products are entirely vegan, soy and gluten free and will liven up any cracker, charcuterie board, dish or party you bring them to!
The Ottima Mozza is a mozzarella style cheez that has a soft, moist, milky texture and mild flavour. It contains agar to give it a traditional melt, making it perfect for pizzas, lasagnas, sandwiches and more. “Ottima” means “Very Good” in Italian and this cheez sure lives up to its name.
Use this plant-based cheez block like you would cheese. Because they’re made naturally firm with oils, they melt and are very versatile. Use it 3 ways:
- Slice when cold on crackers and sandwiches
- Use as a creamy spread when softened to room temperature
- Make a sauce using The Cultured Nut’s sauce recipe
Shipping & Storage
This mozza comes vacuum sealed to keep it fresh for up to two months unopened. Once opened, it will last for up to 7 days in the fridge. When previously frozen, this block is best when melted. Do not refreeze.
As soon as you order, our Bean Butchers prepare your package in an insulated box with non-toxic ice packs and send it to the deep freezer before shipping.
