    Ingredients

    Roast: chickpeas, vital wheat gluten, oil, garlic, bullion, herbs and spices 

    Stuffing: whole wheat bread crumbs, onion, mushrooms, garlic, celery, sweet potato, cranberries, herbs and spices

    Shipping

    We recommend that you choose Express post for every shipment. You may choose the normal expedited option in the colder seasons which is totally safe in regards to spoilage. Express Post is mandatory for the warmer seasons. We ship the meat in a thermally insulated box or insulated mailer. All orders will be frozen in our deep freezer before shipping. This should guarantee it's integrity for 3-5 days. Through our partnership with DHL, US orders should arrive within 2 days of being shipped.

    Product can be refrigerated or refrozen without any loss of quality/taste. We've successfully shipped orders across North America. That being said, you may want to consider selecting a faster shipping option if the shipping calculator estimates it taking longer than 5 days to get to you.

    Local Pick-Up Options
    You can pick up from our shop in the Victoria Public Market from 10am - 6pm Mon - Sat and 10am - 5pm Sunday.


    Packaging
    We ship your order, depending on size, in an insulated box with ice packs or an insulated bubble mailer with ice packs. Shipping carrier fees are roughly $17 for U.S. orders and $12-$25 for Canadian orders.

    I ordered this product knowing I missed the cut off order date for Thanksgiving. When it arrived it was still cool and my vegan troop were very happy to have a 2nd Thanksgiving dinner! Delicious, thank you.

    Taste was great. We followed instructions — we made two. . We found it to be a bit dry and chewy — however the next day we reheated the two remaking halves— we covered them( in a Dutch Oven), and made sure there was basting sauce on the bottom. This method led to better taste , and the Beast was tender and not chewy. I’d get it again and cook it covered next time - or maybe start with it uncovered and basted for say 10-15 minutes, then cover it and cook for another ?20-30 minutes
