Pre-ordered this for Christmas dinner after checking and re-checking that the roast contained no mushrooms due to an allergy in my family.
Welp, picked up my order this week and what do I see on the label? Mushrooms! Apparently they had changed the recipe a while back, but not updated their site until after I had already ordered (and with no notification). The thing is, I am not the only person this has happened to - if you read the reviews you will see that this happened to another person in October. So known issue about mislabeled products two months ago, yet nothing was done. This would have been bad news if it had been eaten by my family. I can't eat here anymore.
Major hit, even with the meat eaters who took the leftovers home! Just ordered another one for Xmas :)
We are saving the stuffed beast for Xmas dinner so can't rate its tastiness yet. I tried to put in the option on line to pick up our order from your store but couldn't figure out how to do this. It came very promptly by mail but we would rather have skipped the cost of this. I am sure it will be delicious.
It took 12 days for this package to reach me in Toronto, ON due to reported mechanical errors and over-capacity issues with Puralotor. I was very worried the stuffed beasts would be spoiled by the time the package reached me. To my pleasant surprise, both of the beasts I ordered were STILL COLD when I finally opened the package.
